Ballast Point Park is situated right on Tampa Bay. With a beautiful and open view of downtown Tampa, its a great place to relax and enjoy the scenic views.
The park also has two playgrounds and a splash pad that shoots filtered water through colorful and movable fixtures.
There is also a pier where you can go fishing. If you need any bait or minor fishing gear, there is a bait shop nearby. Enjoy a picnic at one of the many picnic tables or shelter. Ballast Point Park offers easy access to Bayshore Boulevard where you’ll find people jogging, walking, rollerblading or biking.

Family-Friendly Tips: Splash Pad area is not well shaded. Try visiting the park earlier in the day or later in the afternoon. Parking is limited so plan to arrive early on weekends or holidays for a parking spot.
