Want to learn how to paddle board, but not sure where to start? Join iTREKKERS at Davis Island for a beginner’s lesson right on the beach. Great for adults and kids, you’ll learn the basics of standing up and paddling from an experienced instructor. Seats are limited so book your lesson soon!
This is a 45 minute lesson that includes a 15 minute intro on the beach, followed by 30 minutes to test out your skills in shallow water accompanied by instructor. You’ll learn:
Best practices and safety
How to balance on the board
How to hold the paddle
Techniques for conserving energy
…and plenty of other beginner tips and tricks!
Lesson costs $10 and will be limited to 4 people per time slot (4pm and 5pm) to ensure plenty of one-on-one time with the instructor. We’ll take care of the paddle boards and life jackets, but remember to bring your bathing suit, sunscreen, and water!
WHERE TO MEET:
Meet at Seaplane Basin Park near Peter O. Knight airport. Park in the free public parking lot, then look for the iTREKKERS flag on the beach, just past the open field and shoreline.
