2014 Farm City Day at Heritage Village
Free family event at the Heritage Village to kick off National Farm City Week. There will be farm animals, 4-H animals, Olde-Time games, and agriculturally inspired arts and crafts. Farm City Day will be held on Saturday, November 15th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Everyone can join in and make butter and ice cream at the dairy barn. Milking goats, petting bunnies, and chickens are just a few of the hands on things available for your family to enjoy.
There will be giveaways and make-and-takes. This is one event that is both educational and fun. Your family will have a grand old time learning about animals and agriculture in Florida.
Farm City Day festival will be accepting non-perishable food and paper goods to benefit the Ronald McDonald House and local food banks.
