Tampa Bay Area: U-Pick Strawberry Farms, Markets and Events

Updated  March 2017

Many families look forward to Florida’s U-Pick Strawberry season. In the Tampa Bay area you will find many U-Pick Strawberry Farms where your family can pick conventional and organic strawberries. Children and adults of all all ages love this special time.

Whether you decide to make strawberry jam, strawberry sort cake, strawberry smoothie or any other strawberry concoction, your family will surely be pleased.

Below you will find a list of farms that offer U-Pick Strawberries. Some farms offer a huge field where you can pick the strawberries, hydroponically grown u-pick areas or it is simply a market that sells strawberries, products or strawberry desserts.

Strawberry U-Pick Tips:

  • ALWAYS call ahead before heading out or check the farm’s Facebook page for updates.
  • Weather and how many strawberries have been picked will effect the hours or availability of U-Pick.
  • Bring your own basket or bags. Avoid deep containers as the strawberries tend to bruise easily.
  • It’s Florida so dress accordingly. Closed toes shoes are recommended.
  • Bring cash. Not all farms accept card payments.
  • Have fun and make something yummy with those amazing strawberries!

NOTE: We will update this post as more U-Pick locations open for strawberry season. Make sure to check back with us. Follow us on Facebook to stay updated.
