Kids love looking through buttons. They immediately see the artistry of each button and pick out the ones that catch their eye. They are drawn to the colors, shapes and decorations. And adult button collectors love to share their buttons and knowledge with kids!
The 2019 Florida State Button Society Meeting, Show & Sale, “Escape from the Zoo,” is free for kids. It will be held Jan. 18-20, 2019, at the Showroom entrance fee for adults is $5.
Approximately 1 million buttons of all prices, materials and ages will be offered for sale by approximately 25 button vendors. The show is generally attended by hundreds of button collectors and enthusiasts from Florida and other states. Members of the FSBS compete for prizes with cards full of specifically-themed buttons that are artistically displayed. The Bay Area Button Club is hosting the state show.
