This is a free family event that you don’t want to miss. There are lots of things to do for all ages. Children will have a blast and learn about the environment at the same time.
Family-friendly activities include:
* Children’s crafts and education displays
* Florida Native Plant sale
* Ladybug release
* Upcycle vendors
* Food Vendors
* Meet Spike – the 10-foot alligator from Croc Encounters
* Household hazardous waste collection
* Electronics recycling (2 TV’s free, additional TV’s $7)
* Medication take-back program (Expired or unwanted medication disposal)
* Document shredding by Shred 360, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Limit 5 boxes/bags per person)
* Mercury disposal (Bring old thermostats/thermometers and get a $5 gift card)
* Monofilament Collection
