Children ages 5 to 12 are invited to our shelter to read to our animals! All they need is their favorite book(s) and a smile! Our animals love the extra one-on-one attention and to listen to the calming sound of human voices as the children read. We do have extra books on hand as well as stools for the children to sit on in the kennels.
