A Walk And A Talk About Spring Flowers

Join us on Sunday, March 8, 2020 for “A Walk And A Talk About Spring Flowers”. Anne Marie, a Certified Florida Master Naturalist, will lead and share her knowledge and experiences with visitors during a 1.7 mile walk along one of the park’s unpaved trails to look for Spring Flowers in bloom, as well as other native plants and animals we may encounter along the way. Come out an enjoy the outdoors and natural areas in the park with others with the same interests. This program will start at 4 p.m. inside the Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park Environmental Education Center and will end at approximately 5:30 p.m.
This event is FREE and there are no parking fees to come into the park. All ages are welcome. No pets please. Make sure to wear closed toe shoes and come prepared for walking in the woods and some sandy areas. Bring a camera if you would like to take photos. Recommended for ages 12 years of age and older.
