Throughout the Botanical Gardens you will find several different gardens including an herb garden, fruit, vegetable, native plants garden and more!

Let the kids explore the Butterfly Garden located in front of the Welcome Center. Take a seat on the Butterfly Chair and see the mosaic stepping stones while the butterflies flutter nearby.

As you stroll through the gardens, there are many places where you will see all types of art…

  • Mural near the Tropical Fruit Garden
  • Sculpture in the pond

  • Musical instruments

There are paved paths that run throughout the gardens and a boardwalk. There are three bridges that connect the gardens. The north bridge connects to the Tropical Fruit area & Children’s Trail, the center bridge is the main bridge into the gardens and the south bridge connects to Heritage Village.

Keep your eyes peeled, over 150 types of bird, mammals, and reptiles have been spotted at the Florida Botanical Gardens. If you find yourself needing a break from your walking tour through the gardens, there are a number of benches located throughout to help you rest from the Florida heat.
