AMC is proud to partner with the Autism Society to offer unique movie showings where we turn the lights up, and turn the sounds down, so you can get up, dance, walk, shout or sing! This sensory showing is to build a more inclusive community for those with autism, aspergers, sensory disorders, or other related disabilities. Sensory Friendly Films is implemented in several AMC theaters in Hillsborough, Pinellas and surrounding counties. See below for a list of local locations participating in sensory showings.
Our Sensory Friendly Film program is available on the second and fourth Saturday (family-friendly) and Tuesday evenings (mature audiences) of every month. Though this program was developed in partnership with the Autism Society, all people of all abilities are welcome to attend this showing. Please check your local theatre listings for specific show times, and don’t forget to share your family fun with #AMCSensoryFriendly.
