To ensure that young boaters feel safe and confident in their roles as honorary first mates, we proudly offer Kids in Boating!
This specially designed course is exclusively for children and takes a fun and educational approach to learning the rules of the water. This course will be taught at MarineMax St. Petersburg and for kids 8 – 13 years old.
MarineMax Kids in Boating class covers topics such as:
- Docking
- Boat Handling
- Safety
- “Rules of the road”
- Basic knot tying
- Boating terminology
& Much more!
Here at MarineMax, we feel that boating really is an activity for the entire family. Getting kids comfortable with boating and being on the water at a young age not only allows you to enjoy your time together on the water together, but also makes boating a part of their lives for years to come.
