City of Tampa Parks & Recreation Summer Camps 2026

The City of Tampa Parks & Recreation Department offers affordable summer camps designed to keep kids active, creative, and engaged all summer long. Campers enjoy games, crafts, themed activities, and occasional field trips, while specialty camps allow participants to focus on areas like sports, arts, theatre, or aquatics.

Date and Time:

R.E.C. Camp (Traditional Summer Camp)
June 1 – August 7, 2026
Full-day program (10 weeks)

Specialty Camps
3 days to 1 week
Half-day or full-day options available

Location:

Multiple Parks & Recreation facilities throughout Tampa.

Age:

Children must be at least 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025.

Cost:

R.E.C. Camp: $80 for the full summer

Specialty Camps: Most programs are around $100 per week

A valid City of Tampa Rec Card is required for enrollment.

April 13, 2026 – Open to residents and non-residents
