Davis Island Youth Sailing Foundation Summer Sail Camp 2026

The Davis Island Youth Sailing Foundation Summer Sail Camp gives kids the chance to learn sailing while spending their days on Tampa Bay. For more than two decades, this program has introduced young people to boating skills, teamwork, and independence through hands-on instruction both on land and on the water. Campers build confidence while learning how to sail, navigate, and work together in a safe environment guided by experienced instructors.

Session 1 — June 1–5, 2026
Session 2 — June 8–12, 2026
Session 3 — June 15–19, 2026
Session 4 — June 22–26, 2026
Session 5 — July 6–10, 2026
Session 6 — July 13–17, 2026
Session 7 — July 20–24, 2026
Session 8 — July 27–31, 2026
Session 9 — August 3–7, 2026

Camp schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Early drop-off and late pick-up options available.

Age:

Argonauts Program — Ages 5–15
Foundations Program — Ages 7–12

Cost:

Prices start at $500 per week
Lunch available for an additional fee
Financial aid and scholarships available for eligible families

Camp Programs:

The Argonauts Program offers an adventure-style sailing experience where campers spend time sailing, kayaking, cruising on powerboats, and exploring Tampa Bay through games and activities.

The Foundations Program provides a structured introduction to sailing through three progressive levels that teach boat handling, safety, and seamanship while building confidence on the water.
