Dunedin Parks & Recreation – Camps 2026

City of Dunedin Parks & Recreation runs Camp Dunedin, a city-wide summer camp program offering full-day and half-day options. The program focuses on active play, themed activities, friendship-building, and supervised fun in a safe, well-structured environment. Families can register for the full summer or select individual weeks, with specialty camps available alongside general recreation camps.

Date and Time:

• Camp Season: June 1- August 7, 2026  (10 weeks total)

• Daily Schedule: Most camps run Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Extended Care (Xtra Rec):

  • Morning: 7:30 – 9:00 AM

  • Afternoon: 5:00 – 6:00 PM

• Registration Opens: March 11, 2026

• Dunedin Community Center
• MLK, Jr. Recreation Center
• Additional city recreation facilities depending on camp type

Age:

• Ages 4 – 17, with camps grouped by age (Pre-K, Kids, Tweens & Teens, and specialty camps)

Cost:

• Pricing varies by camp type, age group, and full-week vs. individual-week registration
• Campers receive a camp t-shirt for core camps (specialty camps excluded)
• Scholarships available for qualifying families
