Freedom Sailing Special Needs Summer Camp
Freedom Sailing Camp of Florida offers a unique summer camp experience designed for individuals on the autism spectrum. The program focuses on sailing and water-based activities while helping campers build confidence, independence, and social skills in a supportive environment.
Campers spend time learning how to sail while also participating in paddleboarding, kayaking, and other outdoor activities along the water. The program also includes opportunities to practice teamwork, communication, and basic job skills.
Age:
8 – 18 years old
Summer Camp Schedule:
June 3 – August 3
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Cost:
$200 per week
Activities Include:
- Sailing instruction
- Paddleboarding
- Kayaking
- Social skill development
- Teamwork and communication activities
- Confidence and independence building
Scholarships:
Scholarships are available for families who qualify. Camp Director Bonnie Monroe can provide the application forms.
