Hillsborough County Adaptive Recreation Summer Camp
Hillsborough County offers an Adaptive Recreation Summer Camp designed for children and teens with disabilities. The program creates an inclusive space where campers can enjoy recreational activities adapted to their abilities while building friendships and confidence.
Campers participate in outdoor activities, sports, creative arts, and group programs led by trained staff who focus on inclusion and support.
Eligibility:
Children and teens with disabilities who have completed kindergarten.
Children who finished kindergarten but are not yet six years old may still qualify.
Camp Sessions (2026):
Session 1:
June 8 – July 2 (4 weeks)
No camp on June 19 and July 3
Session 2:
July 6 – August 7 (5 weeks)
Camp Cost:
- Session 1: $160 per child
- Session 2: $200 per child
- Full 9-week program: $360

- Carrollwood Meadows Park — 13918 Farmington Blvd., Tampa
- Gardenville Park & Recreation Center — 6219 Symmes Rd., Gibsonton
- Jackson Springs Park & Community Center — 8620 Jackson Springs Rd., Tampa
- Keystone Park & Recreation Center — 17928 Gunn Hwy., Odessa
- Miller Park & Life Center — 6105 E Sligh Ave., Tampa
- Northdale Park & Recreation Center — 15510 Hooting Owls Pl., Tampa
- Ruskin Park & Recreation Center — 901 6th St., Ruskin
Camp space may fill quickly, and some locations may have waitlists.
