Hyde Park United Methodist Church VBS 2026

A well-structured week designed to help kids understand who God is through clear, daily themes that build on each other. Each day focuses on a different idea—God as creator, all-knowing, a place of safety, love, and forever—so children gradually connect the bigger picture rather than learning isolated lessons.

Mornings follow a steady rhythm with a mix of music, storytelling, crafts, and group activities. Kids rotate through different stations, which keeps things active and helps them stay engaged. The balance between movement and learning makes it easier for younger children to stay focused without feeling overwhelmed.

Older participants (rising 5th and 6th graders) get additional time on select days, with extended programming in the afternoons. That extra time allows for deeper activities, stronger group connections, and a slightly more mature experience compared to the younger groups.

Behind the scenes, everything feels organized—from volunteer support to preparation teams—so families can expect a smooth drop-off and pick-up routine throughout the week.

Extended Days (Rising 5th–6th): Until 3:00 PM on Tuesday & Thursday
