Mission Hill Kids VBS: Illumination Station

This week-long VBS feels more like a full experience than just a program. Kids move through a mix of Bible storytelling, group activities, music, and hands-on learning that keeps them engaged the entire morning. The “Illumination Station” theme ties everything together—kids explore how light works (brightens, reflects, reveals) while connecting it to faith in a way that actually makes sense to them. The focus stays on helping kids understand who Jesus is, not just memorizing stories, and giving them space to build friendships, ask questions, and grow more confident in what they believe.

Everything is designed with younger kids in mind—structured but still fun, with leaders guiding them through each part of the day. Lessons follow a bigger Bible timeline (Genesis to Revelation), helping kids see how everything connects rather than feeling like random stories. Along the way, they’ll pick up simple ideas about faith, learn how to apply them in everyday life, and practice showing kindness, teamwork, and curiosity.

Parents can expect a safe, clean, and welcoming environment with trained volunteers, plus a schedule that balances learning, movement, and creative time so kids don’t get bored or overwhelmed.
