Reading Corner Summer Camps 2026

The Reading Corner Summer Camp creates a gentle, welcoming introduction to a classroom environment for young children. Designed for early learners, the camp focuses on daily routines such as classroom behavior, snack and lunch time, bathroom use, and smooth transitions throughout the day. Campers also enjoy early literacy activities through a developmentally appropriate curriculum, along with play centers, outdoor time, music, and art to support social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

A separate Kindergarten Readiness Camp mirrors a VPK classroom experience and helps children retain and strengthen skills over the summer. The program addresses the common “summer slide” by revisiting core concepts from VPK so campers feel confident and prepared to begin kindergarten.
