Tampa Bay Boating & Fishing Summer Camp 2026

Tampa Bay Kayak Anglers hosts a hands-on boating and fishing camp where young anglers spend the week learning outdoor skills on the water. Campers explore Tampa Bay while gaining practical experience in fishing techniques, marine ecology, and boating safety. The program blends outdoor adventure with education, helping kids understand local ecosystems while building confidence on the water.

Camp Activities:

• Rigging fishing rods and tying knots
• Selecting and seining bait
• Building a tackle box
• Learning safe boating practices
• Navigating a Jon boat
• Fish ecology and marine conservation lessons
• Team-building exercises and outdoor exploration

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pick-up and drop-off take place at the Lynn Rives Environmental Education Center.

10 – 17 years old
