Eckerd College Summer Watersports Camp

Eckerd College offers a long-running summer watersports program where children explore life on the water while learning new skills in a safe and exciting environment. The camp takes place on Tampa Bay and gives campers the opportunity to try a variety of outdoor activities guided by experienced instructors from the college’s waterfront program.

The program blends adventure, marine education, and hands-on learning, helping kids build confidence while enjoying the Florida coastline.

Age Groups:

• Young Marine Explorers: Ages 5–12
• Tweens and Teens: Ages 13–17

Watersports & Camp Programs May Include:

• Sailing and beginner sailing instruction
• Paddlesports such as kayaking and paddleboarding
• Wakeboarding and waterskiing
• Saltwater fishing experiences
