The Florida Botanical Gardens

Your family is going to love this beautiful oasis tucked in Largo, Florida. Follow the walking paths as they showcase the beautiful fauna and other natural resources in this serene atmosphere. The gardens are great for the young and the young at heart.
Admission to the gardens is free daily, 7 a.m.- 5 p.m, except for the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Leashed pets are welcome.
Throughout the Botanical Gardens you will find several different gardens including an herb garden, fruit, vegetable, native plants garden and more!
Let the kids explore the Butterfly Garden located in front of the Welcome Center. Take a seat on the Butterfly Chair and see the mosaic stepping stones while the butterflies flutter nearby.
As you stroll through the gardens, there are many places where you will see all types of art…
- Mosaic bench
- Water fountain sculpture
- Mural near the Tropical Fruit Garden
- Sculpture in the pond
- Hand painted picnic table
- Musical instruments
There are paved paths that run throughout the gardens and a boardwalk. There are three bridges that connect the gardens. The north bridge connects to the Tropical Fruit area & Children’s Trail, the center bridge is the main bridge into the gardens and the south bridge connects to Heritage Village.
