Straz Promotions
Those on the front lines deserve to be front-of-the-line for special Straz Center rush tickets. For select shows, by visiting the Ticket Sales Office on the day of the performance, if you’re an educator, student, senior, active or retired military personnel, first responder or health care hero, you can purchase discounted, otherwise “last minute†tickets.
ACTIVE OR RETIRED FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNTS
Members of the military and first responders with valid ID qualify for special-priced tickets to selected Center-presented shows indicated below. Two tickets per ID. Discounts are not applicable to prior sales and cannot be combined with any other offer. Subject to availability. Offer can be discontinued at any time. Handling fees apply. Discounts are redeemable in person only. Discounts cannot be redeemed online or over the phone.
All available Active or Retired Military and First Responder discounts and their restrictions are listed below.
Depending on the show, a $3.75-$5 theater restoration fee is included in the price of the ticket and will not be discounted.
EDUCATOR DISCOUNTS
Teachers and staff from all Tampa Bay area counties qualify for up to two special-priced tickets to select shows indicated below. $3.75-$5 theater restoration fee is included in the price of the ticket and will not be discounted.
To receive the discount, come to the Straz Center Ticket Sales Office and show your school system ID or recent pay stub. Home school educators must provide their confirmation letter from the school board in lieu of an ID or pay stub. Discounts cannot be redeemed online or over the phone.
All available Educator discounts and their restrictions are listed below.
