Tampa Police Department: Summer Block Party for Juneteenth

TAMPA, FL. (June 15, 2026) – The Tampa Police Department is proud to invite the community to attend the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Celebration on June 19, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the newly opened Fair Oaks Recreation Complex.

The family-friendly event is free and open to the public. This event will feature local vendors, nonprofits and special recognitions.

The Juneteenth Celebration provides a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships between the Tampa Police Department and the community.

Since hosting its inaugural Black History Month Celebration in 1988, the Tampa Police Department Black History Committee has been dedicated to building rapport with the community by organizing community events, historical education, and investing in youth, awarding scholarships to high school students in the City of Tampa.
