The Black Pirate (1926) – Free Community Screening
Tampa Theatre and the Henry B. Plant Museum are teaming up for a free screening of The Black Pirate, the swashbuckling 1926 silent film starring Douglas Fairbanks — the second film ever shown at Tampa Theatre when it first opened. This special presentation features a live original musical score composed and performed by Steven Ball, Tampa Theatre’s artist-in-residence. Seating is limited and first-come, first-served, so arrive early — doors open at 7:30 PM.
