Holiday Lights in the Tampa Bay area is a great way to spend some family time. Even out-of-town guests will definitely enjoy Tampa Bay’s special display of Lights from Tampa to Spring Hill.

2020 Free Holiday Light Displays


1. The Oakdale Christmas House Light Display

Open Friday November 27, 2020 to January 3, 2021., 6:00 -10:00 p.m.

Cost: Free

The 2020 Oakdale Christmas Light Displays is among the best in the U.S. and Tampa Bay. Holiday Light Display features  1/2 million lights.Only display to make HGTVs #1 & NBCs Today show top 3 the same year. Definitely add it to your bucket list of holiday light events.

3.Largo Holiday Lights

Nightly, November 28, 2019- January 1, 2020
101 Central Park Dr,Largo, FL 33771

Take a stroll down to Largo park to see the lighted displays for the festive holiday season. So many fun and unique light displays to enjoy.



4. Chick-fil-A Waters Ave

6299 W Waters Ave, Tampa, Florida
Cost: Free

Dates: Now until Dec. 21, 2019 for nightly concerts

Chick-fil-A has a beautiful light display that they turn on every year for the Holiday Season. Stop in for a treat and enjoy the majestic lights.


5. St. Petersburg Waterfront Lights and Display

Nightly until Dec. 31st
Cost: Free

Stroll along the pedestrian walkway of St. Petersburg‰s waterfront and see thousands of holiday lights and decorations in North, South Straub Parks and Vinoy Park.



6.Hyde Park Village Holiday Stroll

1602 W Snow Ave, Tampa, FL 33606
Cost: Free
Dates: Lights are on at dark through January 1st

Take a family-friendly stroll through the shops at Hyde Park Village.



7. Rawls Road Lights

5118 Rawls Road, Tampa, FL
Dates: Open daily through Jan. 1, dark-9 p.m.
Cost: Admission is free (donations accepted).

Explore this multi-home display in the Carrollwood area that’s been a holiday tradition for more than 15 years and has been featured on HGTV. It features a walk-through area and a display that‰s visible from the street featuring a light show synced to music, inflatable decorations and thousands of lights.


Donation/Fee-Based Holiday Light Displays

1. Nights of Shimmering Lights

2302 N Dover Rd, Dover, Florida 3352

Dates: November 30- Dec. 25th. Visit their Facebook page for exact dates and times.
1/4 unpaved walking trail through a spectacular display of seasonal lights and sounds. Visit our Holiday Village for games, Santa photos, crafts, movies and other activities included in the price$6 per person over 3 years old
Open Thursday to Sunday, closed Monday-Wednesday and rainy days
Special opening December 23, 24, and 25. Santa leaves for his journey on December 24 at 8 PM

2. Holiday Lights at The Botanical Gardens

12520 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL
Dates: November 29 – January 4, 2020,5:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Cost: Suggested donation $5 per person (Free admission for 12 and under)

Take a nice stroll through the Florida Botanical Gardens to see the beautiful holiday lights.There will be nightly free entertainment and visits from Santa Claus.




3.Christmas Town at Busch Gardens

Christmas Town will run from Nov. 16, 2019- January 6. 2020
Cost: Included in admission 

Christmas Town is open until 10 p.m. on select dates.

Busch Gardens Tampa will transform into a holiday wonderland of Christmastime entertainment, holiday shopping, festive treats and more than a million twinkling lights. The Christmas cheer begins at Santa‰s house where you can meet and take photos with Santa Claus.



4. Holiday Lights at ZooTampa at Lowry Park

1101 W Sligh Ave, Tampa, FL 33604

Event Dates: November 29, 30 |  December 6-7, 13-15, 20-23, 2019

Lights and activities start at 4 p.m. and the Zoo closes at 10 p.m.

Cost:Included with paid Zoo admission or Zoo membership.

Visit ZooTampa at Lowry Park on select days this Holiday season and enjoy extended hours with festive decorations, twinkling lights and ‰Florida snow flurries‰ in the unique and picturesque setting. Visits from Santa, sights and sounds of the season, holiday treats and more.


5. Victorian Christmas Stroll at Henry Plant Museum

401 W Kennedy Blvd,Tampa, FL
Dates: Runs from Dec 1, 2019 – Dec 23, 2019, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
Cost: Adults – $16, Seniors – $14, Youth – $10

Discount Days: December 2, 3, 9, 10
Adults –  $14, Seniors – $12, Youth – $8

Come visit the Christmas exhibit at Henry B. Plant Museum. Enjoy 14 exhibit rooms filled with beautifully adorned trees designed in 19th century themes and antique holiday accessories.
