Everyday is a great day to celebrate and honor our Veterans.
On Friday, November 11, 2016 many Tampa Bay area businesses will take the time to focus their efforts and offer many food freebies and free admission for those who have served in our military service and some offers also include active duty military personnel and first responders.

FREE Admission/Offers
Free Admission at Florida State Parks
On Wednesday, Nov. 11, everyone is invited to celebrate Veterans Day at a Florida state park and enjoy free entry to all state parks except for Skyway Fishing Pier State Park.
Veterans Day admission is complimentary all day for veterans and active duty military members with valid ID, plus one guest each.
Lowry Park Zoo
Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo is offering free admission to members of the U.S. military (active duty, retirees and veterans) plus one free guest. Admission for additional dependents or guests may be purchased during the same transaction for a special rate of $15 per person (adult or child).
Great Clips Haircut
On November 11, come in for a haircut and get a free haircut card to give to a veteran. And, of course, all veterans get a free haircut on November 11.
Glazer Children’s Museum
Military members and their families can enjoy free admission on Veterans Day.
Florida Aquarium
All active duty military, retired, prior service of the Armed Forces (includes Guards and Reserve), and dependents, can receive one free general admission ticket to The Florida Aquarium. Additional guests (up to 4 people) can receive a discounted $15 general admission ticket. Only redeemable at the Aquarium ticket office.
*Must present Military ID DD-1172, Retired ID DD-2, Dependent ID, or copy of DD-214 w/ photo ID or state issued ID/drivers license with the Veteran designation to The Florida Aquairum ticket booth on 11/11/2016.
Armed Forces History Museum
The Armed Forces History Museum is offering all veterans, active military and their families free admission.

At participating Applebees on November 11th, Veterans and Active Duty Military can select a free meal from a limited menu for Veterans Day. Proof of service required.
BJ’s
On Friday November 11, all Veterans can enjoy a complimentary entree under $12.95 by presenting a military ID or proof of service at any BJ’s Restaurant.
Bob Evans
On Veterans Day 11-11-16, Veterans and active military personnel will receive a free meal from a select menu. Guest are eligible for the free meal by showing proof of military service or wearing a military uniform. Bob Evans is also offering a 10 percent discount to all veterans and active duty military from November 12 through December 31, 2016, for dine-in and carryout purchases.
Chick-fil-A
We’re saluting our Military on Veterans Day! Come in to any participating Tampa Bay, Sarasota, Bradenton, Hernando or Polk County Chick-fil-A restaurant and show your valid military ID on Friday, November 11, 2016 and receive a promotional card for a FREE entrée valid Saturday, November 12 through Saturday, December 31, 2016.
