Each Friday in the month of January, AAA will be giving away free booster car seats for children in Florida.
AAA, the countryÛªs largest auto club is making it easier for Florida parents to comply with the newly updated child car seat law.
The new child car seat law which took effect January 1, 2015 now åÊrequires that children need to be secured in a car seat until the age of 6. Previously the law only applied to children under 4 years old.
Drivers caught violating the law face $60 fines and up to three points on their license.
