Academy at the Lakes offers a premier day camp and summer school experience in the north Tampa area. Located on picturesque Lake Myrtle in Land O’ Lakes, Summer at the Lakes offers a choice-based summer program featuring over 60 different camp options as well as noncredit and for-credit summer classes.
Spending the day at Summer at the Lakes provides children the opportunity to make lasting friendships while exploring nature, learning new skills, and having tons of fun! Within a safe and caring environment, led by high-quality staff, children can participate in a wide range of activities from canoeing and fishing to painting, acting, and cooking. We offer a variety of sports camps from basketball, soccer, and T-ball to girls’ volleyball. If your children are interested in the STEM field, we offer CSI Camp, robotics, and more! Children can choose from a number of specialty-themed camps, based on their interests, like Canine Crew and First Responders Academy.
We also offer plenty of off-campus experiences during our field trip camps to popular family destinations like The Florida Aquarium, iFLY, Airheads, Tampa Zoo at Lowry Park, and Weeki Wachee Springs. Join us for the summer and SPLASH into Summer at the Lakes!
