Families in St. Petersburg, FL will have no trouble finding Christmas Parades to enjoy this holiday season. Santa even makes an appearance at many of these parade events.
Whether you’re looking for a parade on land or on water, you’ll find several during the month of December.

1. St. Petersburg Santa Parade
St. Petersburg’s Annual Santa Parade kicks off from Central Ave. and 5th St. travels east to Bayshore Dr. then turns north ending at 5th Ave. N. Free family fun, bands, floats and much more will delight the spectators.

2. Boat Parade and Winter Festival in the Park
Boat Parade Viewing Party to include: live music, art projects for children, and a special visit from SANTA!!!

3. Christmas Parade and Santa’s Visit to Whoville
Join Santa along this year’s Christmas parade route in St. Petersburg! The Parade starts at St. Pete Beach City Hall (155 Corey Ave) and heads west down Corey Ave, south on Blind Pass Rd, east on 73rd to Bay St and back to City Hall.
Santa will finish the parade route at the St. Pete Beach Library (365 73rd Ave) to meet with all the Whos in Whoville. While at the library, enjoy Grinch themed crafts, face painting and light refreshments. An interactive holiday movie “The Grinch that Stole Christmas” will be shown at 11am.
– Best parade viewing areas will be along Corey Ave and at the Library

4. Annual Illuminated Boat Parade (Downtown, St. Petersburg)
December 9, 2017 at 6:30 p.m.
500 Bayshore Drive NE, South end of Park-North side of Vinoy Basin, St. Petersburg, FL 33701
30th Annual Illuminated Boat Parade is a great collection of boats decorated for the holidays. The event is free to view from anywhere around the Vinoy Basin.
Parade-goers can get a good look all along the waterfront with the best spots will be near Albert Whitted Airport, Spa Beach, Vinoy Yacht Basin and Vinoy Park. Free and family-friendly!
