1. Noon Year’s Eve Balloon Drop for Kids at Armature Works

Join Armature Works for a special, early New Year’s Eve celebration for kids. The event kicks off at 11:00am on the Armature Works South + West Lawns and will feature and features a countdown to noon with a colorful daytime smoke fireworks display, bounce houses, face painting, crafts, an interactive DJ and roaming entertainment on the Pier.

2. Downtown Countdown at Glazer Children’s Museum

Ring in the New Year at the Glazer Children’s Museum with countdowns, Family Play Projects, and celebrations throughout the day on New Year’s Eve. Local Community Evening New Year’s Eve Events 

1. NYE on the Pier

600 2nd Ave NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Event Starts at 8pm until 12:30am

Ring in the new year on the St. Pete Pier with the area’s biggest fireworks show sponsored by the City of St. Petersburg.  Enjoy Live DJ’s on our main stage equipped with an LED wall, lights, and a giant disco ball that will light up the night! 

Also enjoy food vendors, games, and of course a full and champagne bar for your midnight toasts!  NYE on the Pier is a free event, there are no tickets necessary to enter.  

​Experience NYE on the Pier on Spa Beach Park.  While the main activities and programming is located on Spa Beach Park, the City of St Petersburg’s fireworks are visible from all areas of the Pier and Downtown Waterfront.

2. Light up the Lagoon

4. First Night St. Petersburg

First Night St Petersburg is the largest family-friendly New Year’s Eve Celebration of the Arts in Florida and each year, we bring downtown St Petersburg Art in Unexpected Places.   This year First Night is celebrating 30 years with ART IN THE PARK- in North Straub. The park will be filled with music, dance, a tiny theatre for improv, a Literary village thanks to the Story Garden, dance, sign along songs with Mr Brad and so much more! As always it is family oriented and geared towards art enthusiasts of all ages.

6. New Year’s Eve Parade & Big Storm Pep Rally (formerly Outback Bowl)

Tampa’s historic Ybor City Latin District is host of the popular ReliaQuest Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade. Fans will enjoy High School Marching Bands from across the country along with floats and the participating college bands and cheerleaders as they march down 7th avenue. Stay for the Big Storm Brewing Pep Rally at the end of the parade route then stop by Big Storm Brewery and the many restaurants and night spots throughout Ybor and Downtown Tampa. The Parade steps off at 5:30 p.m.
