Are you ready for your next run? What about your next family outing? Take on a fun adventure around downtown St. Pete and along the waterfront for the Getaway 5K race that debuts on Sunday, November 5th in St. Petersburg.
Get ready for the Holiday binge by adding a race onto your things to do this fall. Getting fit and active is a great way to spend some family time. All ages are welcome to participate and there will be an interactive celebration village that includes live entertainment, awards, interactive kids zone, food vendors and more.
The Getaway 5K will be held at Albert Whitted Park in St. Pete. With more moderate temperatures in November, this race is a perfect way to get out and have some fun with the entire family.

What are my options?
Choose between a 5K, 10K, 1-Mile Walk or the Kids Fun Run. Make it a family outing and race, walk or skip your way through the Getaway 5K. You can even bring a stroller with you on the run.
If your child wants to join in on the fun, sign them up for The Kids Fun Run where they can take part in a 1/2 mile for ages 8-12 or a 1/8 mile for children ages 7 and under. Children should be able to run the distance alone, though parents are permitted to run with their child.
Any discounts?

One of the best parts about races is all the fun merchandise that is included in your race fee. If you’re an avid runner of races then you probably have your fair share of race t-shirts.
For those new to the scene, a race t-shirt is like a badge of honor that you can wear throughout the year to remember all the fun you had.
The Getaway 5K participants will receive a blue lightweight soft cotton t-shirt and 10K participants will receive a 1/4 zip pull-over jacket that is made of sweat-wicking material.

What’s the schedule?
Pick up your Bib the day before the race at Fit2Run St.-Pete on Saturday, November 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you need to wait until race day, come pick up your Bib between 7 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Albert Whitted Park on 480 S Bayshore Dr, St. Petersburg, FL 33708.
