With an annual park attendance over 2.7 million visitors, Fort De Soto Park keeps visitors and residents coming back to its beach front views.

Located on Mullet Key at the entrance to Tampa Bay this park has five interconnected islands. It is an ecological wonderland with beaches, marshes, palm hammocks, mangroves and wetlands. Surrounded by a wealth of sea, bird, plant life and wildlife is a historical fort.

It is a great place to escape with your family for the De Soto‰’s camping, fishing and boating amenities. The park is home to a 238 camping area with facilities including barbecue grills, playground, picnic tables, washers, dryers, showers, restrooms and a camp store for your camping Special campsites are available so you can camp with your family pet.

Admission Fee: Persons entering by foot or bicycle is free

Vehicle parking is $5 a day

Hours: Open Daily, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
