Need to keep the kids busy and active this summer? Pin Chasers wants to help keep youth moving this summer with their MOVE Youth Bowling Academy program for Tampa Bay Area children.
Tampa Bay-area kids can participate in a FREE 8-week bowling lessons for children in in K-12th grade for the MOVE Youth Bowling Academy by Pin Chasers from 9-11 a.m. on Saturdays. Starting June 1, 2019 at every Pin Chasers’ location with official games beginning at 9:30 am.
Pin Chasers’ previous fee-based youth bowling program, costing $60 per child, started 60 years ago. Now through 2020, Pin Chasers is underwriting the entire MOVE Academy program as a gift to the community in honor of the business’s 60th anniversary.
“It’s increasingly easy for kids to stay home and not move, to fall into the trap of their devices and screens,” said CEO Anthony Perrone. “We want to create opportunities for every child to move and participate in a sport….”
Certified coaches will teach bowling basics in this eight-week session that include bowling, awards, balls, shoes and, if needed, socks. Bowlers receive weekly prizes as their technique improves and confidence soars!
The next MOVE Academy session will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 1, at all Pin Chasers locations: Midtown, 4847 N. Armenia Ave., and Veterans, 5555 W. Hillsborough Ave., in Tampa; and East Pasco, 6816 Gall Blvd., Zephyrhills.
