It’s time to get hands on with your kids at a free workshop! Home Depot’s FREE Kids Worshop is a hands-on workshop created for children 5-12 Yrs old.
Children can build fun and useful projects like bird houses, toolboxes, fire trucks, picture frames, planters and many more do-it-yourself wood projects.
The workshops are usually held on the first Saturday of the month from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. at your local Home Depot store. Children not only get to build and keep their wooden crafts. They also receive a free certificate of achievement, orange apron, and commemorative pin.
Kids Workshop Schedule: First Saturday of the month from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Registration Required: No.
If you are planning on coming in a large group, such as a church group, scouting group or moms group, please register your group online at Home Depot.
Cost: Free and all supplies and tools are included for use.
Family-Friendly Tip:The Home Depot Kids Workshop is for children ages 5-12. However any child younger or older can participate and they won’t be turned away.
Each time your child comes to the Home Depot Kids Workshop they receive a pin with a picture of the craft they completed that day. Kids can collect the pins for a fun keepsake of their achievements.
