Plant City’s Planes, Trains and Automobiles offers a little something for everyone.åÊThis event gives adults and kids an up close look at full-sized airplanes, classic cars, model train sets, and even remote controlled airplanes.
The festival, entering its fifth year, is set for Saturday, February 21st from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Plant City Airport. Admission is free. Parking is $5.
The Planes, Trains, and Automobiles event is expected to draw several thousands of spectators to enjoy the beauty of transportation. Free activities andåÊfree plane rides through the EAA Young Eagles Program for children ages 8 to 17 is one of highlights of the events. Arrive early as flights are limited.
Scout groups can earn merit badges in aviation and åÊsearch and rescue badges while attending this free event. åÊWith all the beautiful cars on site, åÊwho will win the People’s Choice Trophy? First, second, and third place winners will be announced at 2:30 p.m.
