Tampa's 2015 Children's Gasparilla Extravaganza

The Gasparilla Children’s Extravaganza has set course for Tampa on Saturday, January 24th.

This event was made for kids! Bring the whole family for a day filled with pirate adventures, parades, crafts, and tons of activities.

Gasparilla’s Children’s Extravaganza is free for all to attend and is from 11:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m.

Gasparilla Children’s Extravaganza Schedule:

11 a.m. -åÊGasparilla Begins
Children‰Ûªs activities open along Bayshore Blvd., from Bay to Bay to Watrous/Orleans Avenues.

11 a.m.‰ÛÒ1 p.m. Bicycle & Pedestrian Safety Rodeo
The Bicycle Rodeo will include free information on bicycle safety. While supplies last, kids will be fitted with a free bicycle helmet that they can keep.

1:30 p.m. ‰ÛÒ 2:30 p.m. åÊGasparilla Preschooler’s Stroll
Dress up your little preschooler in pirate attire so they can strut their stuff along åÊBayshore Boulevard.

3:00 p.m. ‰ÛÒ 3:30 p.m. Gasparilla Air Invasion
The United States Special Operation Jump Team will perform a parachute jump that will surely entertain.

3:30 p.m. ‰ÛÒ 6:00 p.m. Children‰Ûªs Gasparilla Parade
Parade begins at Bay to Bay and Bayshore, proceeds north along Bayshore, and the parade ends at Edison Avenues & Bayshore and is 1.7 miles long.

7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. ‰ÛÏPiratechnic‰Û Extravaganza
Enjoy th eamazing “Piratechnic” display as your family enjoysåÊthe imaginary sea battle between the pirates of Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla and the City of Tampa.
