1. Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa at Lowry Park

Cost: Included in the price of admission or membership
Dates: Runs on Fridays and Saturdays from October 5-27, 2019 and the zoo stays open until 10 p.m.

Creatures of the Night returns with more scares and spooky frights at ZooTampa. The Zoo will once again transform into an eerie and immersive Halloween adventure with bigger and better events for ghouls and goblins of all ages. On Fridays and Saturdays from October 4-26, the Zoo stays open late and animals lurk in the night until 10 p.m. with a wide-range of Halloween-themed activities sure to have everyone howling at the moon. Check out these spook-tacular tips to make a tremendous night of fun!

Things to know about Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa:

  1. The whole family can come dressed in their Halloween Costume. It’s a family affair, so keep it G-rated.
  2. No horror or gore, just fun frights for all. There will be scare zone for those who dare.
  3. Bring your trick-or-treating bag for some treats at Wallaroo Station
  4. Holiday food. So much wonderful and tasty holiday food will be available for sale. It’s going to be monsteriffic.
  5. This is HUGELY popular event so plan to walk a little bit as you may need to park in their overflow parking area.

 

 

2. HORSEPOWER FOR KIDS FALL FESTIVAL & PUMPKIN PATCH

Cost: $12 Admission, free admission for children under 12 months

3. Pioneer Florida Museum Scarecrow Festival

This Halloween event is built for kids! This spooky event takes place weekends in October, and features trick-or-treating along the brick or treat trail, super brick build activities, the largest LEGO Jack-O-Lantern in the world, Halloween entertainment and an all-kids costume contest with brick-tastic prizes! Nightly fireworks will add that extra holiday flare.
