1. Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa at Lowry Park

Creatures of the Night returns with more scares and spooky frights at ZooTampa. The Zoo will once again transform into an eerie and immersive Halloween adventure with bigger and better events for ghouls and goblins of all ages. On Fridays and Saturdays from in October, the Zoo stays open late and animals lurk in the night until 10 p.m. with a wide-range of Halloween-themed activities sure to have everyone howling at the moon. Check out these spooktacular tips to make a tremendous night of fun!

Things to know about Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa:

  1. Children (12 and under) are invited to arrive in their most spooktacular attire. Everyone else should dress in regular attire.
  2. Holiday food. So much wonderful and tasty holiday food will be available for sale. It’s going to be monsteriffic.
  3. Explore the pumpkin patch and scarecrows.

Kids of all ages can enjoy this Halloween season with an expanded trick-or-treat trail and furry friends at Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. This family-friendly event takes place every weekend in October in the Sesame Street Safari of Fun area and is included in park admission.

Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends feature more trick-or-treat stations than ever, a limited-time Sesame Street Halloween Show, festive character meet-and-greets, Halloween Dance Parties and the return of Elmo’s Treehouse Trek climbing area and pin trading.

Fall Festival Info: HorsePower for Kids is an outdoor animal sanctuary and family fun farm located in Northwest Tampa near Oldsmar and Westchase. Stop by for a full day of fall activities, including hayrides, pumpkin patch, pony rides, games, animal farms and more.

 

 

 

4. Pioneer Florida Museum Scarecrow Festival

Fun outdoor event for the whole family and make your own scarecrow. Pumpkin Patch, food trucks, craft vendors and more! Entertainment this year will be Blaise Bubble Magic with two great showtimes!  Soccer Dogs with performances every hour. The Petting Zoo will be in full swing with lots of amazing animals.  Carnival games in the barn with prizes. This year we will have a “Maskoween” Costume Contest with 4 age groups.

 

 

5. Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival

6. The Florida Railroad Museum Pumpkin Patch Express

Cost: FREE bags given to children 1 & up! (1,000 bags)

Celebrate Halloween, safely with our drive-through trick-or-treating event. Drive through our decorated booths and receive a goody bag, filled with treats at the end. Free goody bags are given to the first 1,000 children present in their vehicles. No Walk-Ups permitted. All guests must be in a vehicle. 11. Shimmering Lights Fall Festival

Date: October 8-10, 14-17, 21-31

Hours: 7:00-10:00 p.m.  Closed on rainy days or after big storms.  Please check our Facebook page or Google Maps for closure before starting out.

Cost: $7. Tickets are required for children 3 years and older. Children aged 2 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the gate.

SHIMMERING LIGHTS FALL 3rd annual Halloween event will take place on select nights in October from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Looking for a fall activity that isn’t a scary haunted house? They put the fun back in Halloween. The not scary activities will include one-fourth mile walking train with hundreds of themed lighted displays, pixel animated props moving to the music, outdoor movies, maze of lights, scavenger hunt, games, and crafts. They will have some new surprise pieces this year.

Family friendly seasonal music, sights, sounds and lights to enjoy along with games and activities. Something for young, old, and in between. One-way wide walking trails practice social distancing the natural way. Walk the trail as many times and your energy allows.

 

 

12. Raprager’s Fall Pumpkin Festival and Haunted Barn

It’s Raprager Family Farms 2nd annual Fall Pumpkin Festival! There are more activities than ever and many improvements. In addition to their standard attractions (hayrides, hay chute slide, 80′ bounce pillow, petting zoo, kids fort, corn pit, gem mining ($), face painting ($), pony rides ($)) they have numerous holiday attractions, including a huge variety of pumpkins and gourds, a 5,000 sq ft haunted barn and cemetery, a mini crop maze, a children’s haunted house (1,100 sq ft inflatable), tons of vendors, holiday country decor, live entertainment and so much more.

 

 

13. Fruitville Grove Pumpkin Festival

Explore and pick up a pumpkin at the Pumpkin Patch. All activities with a * have a small fee. FREE PARKING Children or very small people under 30″ are FREE. Due to other furry friends please leave the 4 legged family member home. Smiles and ready to have fun attitudes is what they are about! Understand this is an outdoor event. Social distancing is preferred. Masks will not be enforced. If COVID is a concern to you, please visit us on the weekdays for the petting zoo, where attendance will be very low and very comfortable. Each year, volunteers from Our Lady of Lourdes’s parish and school come together to put up the “big tent” and fill our campus with rides, games, music, laughter, and fun!
